Board of Directors

CHARLES SCOTT
Non Executive Chairman
After Qualifying as a CA in 1967 Charles concentrated on Corporate Advice and Financial Services. He left Ernst & Young as a senior Partner in 1993 to continue work as an Independent Director. He has been involved with a number of Companies, ranging from Engineering, Logistics, Precision Manufacture and Car Retailing and has just finished 10 years as Vice-Chair at Greater Glasgow Primary Care Trust. Currently Chair at Langside FE College, Charles is also a Director of Aberdeen Development Capital PLC and Erskine Care Ltd. He is a Senior Business Advisor to Targeting Technology Ltd specifically encouraging higher technological ideas to reach commercial activity.

STUART MORRISON
Chief Executive Officer
Founder of EZD, Stuart is a highly experienced international senior manager. He has extensive experience in Europe, the U.S. and Asia in various businesses at senior level as Chief Financial Officer or equivalent. Industry experience at Rockwell International, Tullis Russell, Perkins Elmer & Orient Overseas International Limited.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Stuart is a graduate of St Andrews University.

MICHAEL KAUFMAN
Executive Director
Co-founder of EZD, Michael is an international banker and corporate financier. Michael worked for many years with Banker's Trust and has considerable experience in the field of business consulting and transaction management. He has negotiated and managed numerous acquisitions and mergers as well as raising funds for new ventures. He is a director of several companies.
A lawyer by profession, Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Colgate University (USA).

JOHN C BENNETT
Non Executive Director
John was educated at Harrow Weald Grammar and Watford College. He has worked in the City financial services sector since 1977 within institutions as varied as Legal & General Group plc and Jardine Matheson Group to small privately owned financial services businesses and latterly, Saffery Champness, a top 20 Accountancy practice where he was Managing Director of their financial services advisory business. He has spent over 20 years advising at the top end of the private client investor market.
In 2000 John set up in consultancy and now works closely with Man Investments, part of Man Group plc one of the largest hedge fund businesses in the world. He has been a regular speaker on the hedge fund industry, particularly at professional training programmes which provide educational resources to UK regulated intermediaries.

BARRY E SEALEY CBE
Non Executive Director
After graduating with a first class degree in Science and Engineering from Cambridge University, Barry spent his full-time working career with Christian Salvesen, starting as a trainee, and in 1981 becoming Group Managing Director. He retired from that company in 1989 and now serves as chairman or non-executive director of a number of companies.
Barry is an active Business Angel, having co-founded in 1992 Archangel Informal Investment Ltd, the largest Angel group in Scotland. Archangel has a current portfolio of over 30 companies.

RAMSAY GILLIES
Non Executive Director
Has worked in the insurance industry for 17 years, latterly as Head of Corporate Finance and Treasury at General Accident plc and in manufacturing for 4 years prior. He is a past non-executive director of a packaging company listed overseas and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Ramsay is General Manager of the family office of Ann Gloag and Brian Souter, founders of Stagecoach Group plc. He represents the interest of the family office on the board of a number of private companies.

CLARE GILES
Company Secretary
Clare qualified with Ernst & Young and specialised in personal taxation, including three years in Brussels in the US tax department. After working for Wm Collins, publishers, in the European contract manufacturing division she developed over a ten year period a private client tax and financial services practice. For the last twelve years she has specialised in the pensions and investment market in the UK and Europe.

Management

STUART MORRISON
Chief Executive Officer
A Chartered Accountant, Stuart is entrepreneurial in outlook with extensive experience working in Europe, the U.S. and Asia in various businesses at senior level as CFO or equivalent, culminating in being European FD of OOCL. Stuart founded EZD in September 2001.

COLIN WEARMOUTH
Chief Financial Officer
A qualified accountant with over 25 years international experience, primarily in the Asia Pacific Region. Colin has held a number of senior financial positions for large international companies, as well as being involved in start up and turnaround situations. Colin joined EZD in 2006 with responsibility for the finance and treasury functions.

PHIL LAVIN
Sales and Marketing
Ex Corporate Global Sales Director for Geodis, Phil has been involved in supply chain management, logistics and sales for over 25 years, holding posts both overseas and in the UK. He joined EZD in May 2002 and is responsible for sales and channels to market.

ANDREW BURY
Trade and Relationship Management
Ex head of exports with Evergreen UK, Andrew has over 20 years experience in liner shipping and logistics management. His roles have included developing and implementing supply chain benefits for retailers. With EZD since April 2002 he works closely with customers and global partners.

MALCOLM FLEET
Operational Management and Development
With over 20 years experience in the liner shipping industry, Malcolm has spent over 9 years in overseas positions specifically in the Middle East and Asia with 3 major shipping lines. Malcolm's role with EZD is developing the business process and partner network.

CHARLES BRENNAN
IT and Knowledge
With 15 years experience of supporting technology enabled process innovation in high tech start-ups and within BT, Charles helped found EZD and joined at incorporation in 2001 to develop overall strategy and intellectual property with responsibility for integrating IT and operations.
